myDeductions allows you to easily record work related expenses, gifts and donations as well as the cost of managing your tax affairs. Simply enter the cost of the expenses, record the date and add a description of the expense. Add as little or as much detail as you like or capture photographs of your receipts so you never have to keep a paper copy again.

The tool also has the ability to record work related car trips by using the point to point tool which calculates the distance for you based on two addresses or by providing assistance with keeping a logbook.

myDeductions tool is the perfect solution for individuals claiming work-related expenses. Sharing this information with your accountant is easy too. Simply email the data to your accountant using the share via email option and you will be providing a concise list of deductions which you have recorded over the financial year.



The data recorded using this tool is stored on your device therefore it is important you backup the data and photos you have entered at regular intervals to ensure maximum data retention.

The ATO app can be downloaded for free on any Smartphone or Tablet through either the Andriod Store, Windows Store or Apple App Store.
